“Our mission, through Christ,
is to love God and to love and serve others.”

GIVE HELP is an informational resource for smart organizational giving. Its purpose is to enhance our ‘culture of giving’ by informing church members — and visitors — to be aware of the organizations we support and make it easier to Give Help to our community.

All these Charitable Organizations are supported and coordinated by the GIVE HELP Ministry division of the Christian Mission Commission of The Church of the Red Rocks.

Van Ministry

Van Ministry

The Church of the Red Rocks provides transportation to Sunday worship services for members and friends who are residents of Sedona Winds Retirement Community. In addition, when there is sufficient interest, transportation is offered for concerts and special services.

Heaven On Earth Jaunts , Joyful Journeys and FLIP participants have also used the van for transportation for many of their activities.

Our van is equipped with wheelchair access, and can accommodate up to 14 passengers. This van “ministry” is an important outreach to the congregation, making it possible for non-driving members to attend services.

The Facilities Commission manages a team of some 6-7 drivers which have been recruited and trained. Prospective drivers must hold a valid drivers’ license (non-commercial), and he/she must complete an orientation/training regarding the operation of the van including the wheel chair lift. The driver must also be available to drive the van at least every six weeks. Recruitment of new drivers is on-going, and the Facilities Commission welcomes anyone interested in serving the congregation in this way.

If you are interested in being a van driver, click here.

Our Door Is Always Open

Our Door Is Always Open

All of our church activities are open to everyone, including worship services, educational programs and social events.

In addition, many non-profit organizations use the church’s facilities, FREE OF CHARGE, as part of our outreach into the community and is a reflection of the on-going mission of the congregation.

Some of these organizations include: AA, GA, Boy Scouts of America, P.E.O., Family Support Group, Grief Support Group and PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays).

Church facilities can also be rented by organizations, for weddings and private events.

If you are interested in using the facilities of The Church of the Red Rocks, click here.
